How long will the treatments last?
As you may already know - it varies! The majority of botox treatments will take 2 weeks to reach maximal effects, although hyperhidrosis treatments for instance, may work sooner. Dermal filler treatments will provide an instant change, although it will also take 2 weeks to visualise a final result. Skin boosters tend to make their effect known within a few days, but full effects will be seen after 3 weeks.
How long will the treatment take?
The time taken to administer your treatments can vary considerably. As a general rule, dermal filler injections take longer than the other treatments we offer. Your initial consultation will last until you are happy with the tailored treatment plan, and the treatments can be administered afterwards. Most treatments take 30-45 minutes.
What will the ‘downtime’ be following my treatment?
For anti-wrinkle injections, common side-effects such as bruising may last for several days, or up to a week, with full effects becoming apparent at 2 weeks. Dermal fillers can have greater side effects, such as swelling and bruising. Skin boosters can tend to have fewer side effects, despite occasional bruising, most people find that they are unable to see any lumpiness within a matter of hours.
Are there any precautions needed after my treatments?
As with any medical treatment, there will be some necessary precautions post-procedure. With most treatments, avoiding alcohol, intense exercise, and hot environments will be necessary for some time. Before each procedure we will inform you of all the necessary information to ensure the timing suits you, and give you all of the information written down afterwards.
How does the 2 week review work? Do i need to pay?
If, after 2 weeks, you are not fully satisfied with the results of your treatments, you will receive a free consultation to discuss how that can be rectified. This may comprise additional anti-wrinkle injections/dermal filler injections/skin boosters. Any treatments that you receive at this consultation will be chargeable, although at an alternate rate.
how long will it take to see effects?
Our anti-wrinkle and dermal filler treatments will show their full effectiveness around 2 weeks following administration, hence the review at 2 weeks. Despite this, every patient will vary, and some patients will report effects soon than this, especially in the case of certain botox treatments.
